We were able to attend the viewing for President Hinckley on friday w/the masses. We got ourselves in line around 4 and the line started at the top of the hill on the east side of the confrence center. We got inside around 5:30 and once inside we waited in the main entrance for another 45min-hour. Then they took us to be seated and that's when we realized theres a good chance we could die here. Anywhoo, they started row by row on the bottom section (we were on the top). People started giving up and going home. But lucky for us we brought our secret weapon. Emily had a diaper blow out and while we were talking to one of the sisters on crowd control she said we could go to first aid and see what they have. We discussed it and then decided that we gave it a good try. The sister told us to come with her first to clean up Emily. As we got up there and she got us away from everyone else she had a gentleman escort us to see President Hinckley!!! We made it out of the confrence center around 7:30. As we were crossing through the crowds I heard one of the gentleman on crowd control outside telling the waiting crowd that they had about an 1 1/2 hr wait just to get inside! It was so cold outside as we hiked out way back to the van. When we got home my feet were swollen and blistered but I will tell you this. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT!!! Oh and one more thing. The kids did so well. My arms are really sore from lugging Emily but we are still alive and had a wonderful experience.

That's totally awesome. What a neat experience for your whole family. I wish Josh and I could have seen him here on earth alive or otherwise.
