I purchased an Instep Safari swivel double jogging stroller from Amazon.com the 15th of May. A couple days after my purchase I received an e-mail from Amazon.com that babyage had not confirmed the order so they didn't have a time frame on the delivery. And a few days after that e-mail the stroller arrived (I'm thinking around the 25th of May). We got it out of the box and found out it was missing a part called the zipper (keeps the seat in an upright position) so I called and they sent out the piece which I received yesterday. To make a long story short I received 3 e-mails today, one from Amazon.com which reads the stroller I ordered was out of stock and to try purchasing at a later date. The next e-mail is from babyage informing me that the item has been discontinued and my cc was not charged, the last e-mail reads:
Dear Jay
I regret to inform you that the jogging stroller you ordered has been discontinued by the manufacturer. We have been told by InStep that they will not be able to fulfill your order. I have cancelled this order in our system.
I offer my most sincere apologies for this, as I know you were counting on receiving this item, and your order was placed quite a while ago.
I also would like to apologize that this delay was not realized sooner. I appreciate that the time you have spent waiting for this item and waiting for updates is valuable.
My hope at this point is that you will be able to find a similar item and be enjoying it with your children very soon.
Should you have any questions or concerns, I would welcome any opportunity to speak with you.
Sincerely,
David Depolo
So, after some phone calls to my family I am going to what Dr. Laura tells us everyday... "Now go and do the right thing". I will be calling them tomorrow and inform them of their mistake.
Who knows, maybe I can get a t-shirt that says "I was honest with babyage.com and all I got was this stupid t-shirt."

Hey, it just might still turn out in your favor...I had that happen with the Gap when I ordered a ton of clothes for Sam, and I called and told them what happened and they said just keep the clothes for all of your trouble!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Good luck with it. That is just really wierd. I guess that they are not on top of things!
