I haven't been in the mood to blog at all lately, guess I have been in the dumps for a little while. And I have missed posting a few things along the way. First of which was Jacquie's 7th birthday on May 19th. We had family over for cake and ice cream and opened gifts. She got a lot of fun things such as: the coveted water bottle (her favorite gift) a new sleeping bag, books, a Dr. barbie of some kind, drawing books... you get the idea. She had a great time and it was fun to have family over to help celebrate. Uncle Joe gave her family tickets to Cirque du Soleil (which was AWESOME! Unfortunately he couldn't come do to a massive scabies breakout... heart you Joe :)

Happy Birthday!!

Friday I found a small pamphlet for South Jordan Day's. Saturday was free swimming so we took the girls to go swim. ALL the way to the aquatic center Jacquie cried that she would drown. Guess what... she didn't! Actually she had a BLAST!! She was tall enough to do all the fun stuff... floating down the lazy river, water slide etc... However, it took Emily a lot longer to believe that we were not there to drown her. They had the shallow side with some toys that she played in and with. But when we would do the lazy river... that girl has a grip of steel!
That night Jay and I went to the Diamond Rio concert. I really enjoyed it, Jay was ok with it. Dan Truman (plays the keyboard) lived in my mission area in TN. My trainer/friend Diana had a few meals at their home. I didn't serve in his area but I like the group (I got to serve in Johnny Cash area, we just lived up the street. Of course we never made it through the guard shack). It was a really fun date night and a cheap one too. They had fireworks after the concert and they were right above the Jordan River Temple.
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Diamond Rio
I have to admit I was kinda shocked when they came out on stage. I realize I have aged but I didn't think about them aging so much. I was shocked when a bunch of old men walked out on stage. But they have been doing this for the last 20 years... so there you go.
2 thumbs up!

I love Diamond Rio!!! I was shocked to see how old they are too. Funny.
I'm sorry to hear you've been in the dumps! I hope things are looking up.
Missed you today. Sounds like you have been having fun. Hope we get together soon again!
