She loves me... She loves me not

It's been a while since I have even looked at a blog.  School, work and trying to be a decent mom has kept me pretty busy lately. 

However, we had a fun birthday with Jacquie who turned eight on the 19th (and is getting ready to be baptized in two weeks).  There are two things she has been asking for repeatedly over the last couple of years for her birthday and Christmas.  The first has been for a brother and the second a dog.  I usually just laugh and come up with an excuse that will hold her off for a little while.  Unfortunately this year a couple of her cousins got a dog and the other got two brothers (yes twins).  How are you suppose to top that? 

Ok.  I gave in and we got her a dog and not just any dog, the dog of her dreams... a black Chihuahua named Mayah.  The worst part of this story is that the dog is in love with Jay.  Of course Jacquie is forcing Mayah to take notice of her, (which given the choice between Jacquie and Emily... but that's really not a choice, right?) but alas Jay is the one.   

I wonder where I could get a brother?

A few weekends ago we met up with my cousin for some family pictures and pictures for Jacuqie's baptism. Here are a few. When we get the disc I will post some of Emily and the family too.
