Bring it on

My 2009 word for this year is HOPE. The funny thing is I decided hope would be the best word for me this year (after the bang of last year) and then our Relief Society presidency’s lesson was on hope. Sister Jensen asked us what we hoped for ourselves this New Year. Some of her answers where your basics: health, improving myself, be a better mom… you get the idea. But the answer I really needed was “to recognize the Lords hand in my life”. Sure, we do the basics and expect the Lord to bless our lives, but do we “realize the Lords hand” in all the simple and quiet times? The times when you really are not up to par? I know I am guilty of this. So my HOPE is this, I hope to count, record and recognize the Lords hand in my life. My goal for 2009 is this: To be more thankful of the wonderful church meetings where you can learn and grow from others. It’s a freedom I will no longer take for granted.
