Emily's first day of preschool was yesterday. And might I add, she was a
STAR!! The teacher said she was so good, and we all know how Emily can be (she was all excited up until the teacher opened the door). After school I took her to lunch so we could talk about her day and see all her wonderful school work. Then we were off to B&N to buy a new bedtime book. As I was looking through books, Emily found one and was caring it around... no big deal, right?
WRONG!!! I set my book on the counter and so does she, only hers is the 'Good Girl Guide to Bad Girl Sex'.... what the heck?! I thought she was caring around a children’s book (The front was a drawing of a girl, nothing bad at all). The cashier looked at me and she must have seen the shock and horror because she laughed and laughed and laughed. And Emily so sweetly and excited says "I picked it out for Jacquie". So the moral of the story is this. When your child puts a book in their hand, make sure to see if it’s a children’s book or one… um… not so childish.
